Robert De Niro is a well-known actor and producer of America. He was born on 17, August 1943 in Manhattan, a Greenwich Village in New York City. He was born in house of artists Virginia and Robert De Niro Sr. He first lived in New York city for a long time but now he has properties in Manhattan also. His main residence is in Gardiner New York.

He has two spouses. His first wife was Diahnne Abbott. They married in 1976 and lived with each other for 12 years then they both got separated in 1988. He has 2 children from her. He has a son named Raphael from his first wife and also adopted her daughter Drena whom she had from her last relation. He has two more children from a model by surrogate. Afterwords he married Grace Hightower in 1997. He also has two children from her. There were many complications in their relationship but they are with each other till now. He has six children in total. He also has four grand children from three children from Rapheal and one from his daughter.

De Niro’s is known as a brand for the techniques he uses. He employs intense plan of actions whenever he feels they are important to give the best shot when he is in character. He has impressed the audience by his marvellous acting in more than 90 films. He is seen playing such characters which are opaque and usually anti heroes types. A mole on his right cheek makes it more when he plays the characters of a saddened or violent man.

In the beginning, he gained his training at the American Workshop. His first artistic role was in the film “Bang the Drum Slowly” which was released in 1973. But he got his real fame from a film with director Martin Scorsese in 1973. This was his first film with this director. Film name was “Mean Streets”. Most frequently he worked with Martin Scorsese. He won his first award in 1947 for supporting role in the film “Godfather: part 2”.

He also got nominated in many films like “Taxi Driver”, “The Deer Hunter” and ”Cape Fear”. In 1980 he won the best actor award for the film “Raging Bull”. Now he owns a production company “Tribeca Film Center”, and also made an entry in directorial debute by a film named “A Bronx Tale” in 1993. In 2003 he also got the Life Achievement Award. On October 2003 De Niro was diagnosed with cancer. After that on 20 December he had a surgery at a center for cancer. Of the all the time Robert De Niro is considered to be the best actor .
