Enchanting Black Smokey Eyes

Perfectly done eyes are certain to gain attention and make heads turn. Smokey look can be applied on any type of eyes with any eye color. It is a universal look yet looks different on every person depending on their skin tone and the way it is done. And the best part is that it goes with almost every kind of dress. Anyone with a little knowledge regarding how to handle a makeup brush can easily master this particular look with a little bit of practice. You don’t even need tones of makeup products, only a few basic things will do perfectly fine. Here are a few steps to guide you through out the process of getting a knock out Black

Smokey Look.

Step One: Apply cream base or liquid foundation on your eyes to prepare it for the makeup. Liquid foundation blends perfectly in the skin and makeup lasts longer. Apply it evenly on both eyes and conceal any spots or dark circles underneath your eyes with a concealer. Use products that are herbal and suits your skin.

Step Two: Apply a light shade of brown to even out the base and use it as a base color. Just apply one coat and blend it well.

Step Three: Apply soft eyeliner pencil all over your eye lid. Since we are doing a black Smokey look so apply it generously. Use a blending brush to smudge the pencil all over the eyelid. It should be darker on the outer corner of the eye and lighter on the inner corner. Apply the pencil on the lower lid and blend it using the tip of your finger.

Step Four: use a lighter shade of grey on the crease and blend it with the black pencil applied earlier. This will highlight the crease of your eye making it look bigger and brighter. Apply it on the lower lid as well.

Step Five: Now apply black eyeshade. Start with the middle of the eye and smudge it towards the outer corner. Make sure to blend all the lines and eyeshades together flawlessly and evenly on both the eyes.

Step Six: Apply a beige cream eyeshade on the inner corner of your eye and on the brow bone. Dab it with your finger tip 2-3 times and then use a brush to blend it all together. You can also add a bit of glitter it you like.

Step Seven: Apply a thin layer of eyeliner ending it right where the eye ends. Use a gel liner or a liner pen for better result. Liquid liner may end up ruining the look if you are not careful. Finish the look with mascara. Use full volume mascara for fuller and thicker eyelashes. You can go for either black or brown mascara depending on your taste.

For your lips opt for lighter or better yet nude lip colors. Apply your base and dust off any excess makeup around the eyes. Highlight your cheekbones with a bit of shimmer and skip the blush on part totally. This will give a glowing effect to the skin making you look even more exhilarating.
