Danville, Illinois, native, Jaraiyia Morris, better known by her stage name, Jaraiyia Alize´, is on her way to becoming the music industry’s next most promising songstress. Here is our recent chit chat with this talented artist.
Interview Panel: What drew you to the music industry?
Jaraiyia Alize’: What drew me to the music industry is the option to be openly creative. For years my creativity was under appreciated, now I feel a sense of community from loved ones and fans
Interview Panel: Who or what inspired you to get into the music industry?
Jaraiyia Alize’: I’ve always seen my name in lights, for as long as I could remember, I knew my life’s purpose would revolve around music.
Interview Panel: Tell us about your recent release?
Jaraiyia Alize’: coming soon will be the release of my mini movie, Pearlz. This includes a series of three videos expressing what “love” can make you feel.
Interview Panel: Please explain your creative process?
Jaraiyia Alize’: I am inspired by everyday life. Maybe I’ll see a color that “pops” and I’ll start a tune or I’ll be emotional and vent out loud, this tends to lead to a few rhymes lol.
Interview Panel: What’s an average day like for you?
Jaraiyia Alize’: Most days I wake up early, listen to music. Plan daily activities if necessary or just chill at home. I prefer to be home.
Interview Panel: Do you collaborate with others? What is that process?
Jaraiyia Alize’: I have yet to have had the experience of collaborating with another artist, but I am excited to see what’s to come
Interview Panel: Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans?
Jaraiyia Alize’: I assure everyone to treat everyone with love and respect with each interaction, in person and online.
Interview Panel: Are you working on any new project?
Jaraiyia Alize’: Everyday I am writing and thinking of new ideas!
